Account Deletion

Tatva Account Deletion Request

This page explains how Tatva users can request deletion of their account and the user data associated with that account. It is intended to satisfy the outside-the-app account deletion requirement for users who can create an account in Tatva.

Delete Account Delete Associated Data Outside-App Request Flow

1. How to Request Deletion

Deleting a Tatva account means deleting the Tatva account and associated Tatva user data. Temporary account deactivation, freezing, or sign-out does not count as account deletion.

2. Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Tatva account profile and account identifiers stored by the service.
  • Conversation history associated with the Tatva account.
  • Shared memory entries, summaries, and contextual tags linked to the account.
  • Astrology profile data, including birth details or related inputs stored in the account.
  • User preferences, in-app settings, and account-linked entitlement records that are not required to be retained.

3. Data That May Be Retained

  • Minimal records needed for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or dispute handling.
  • Records required for legal, tax, accounting, payment, or regulatory compliance.
  • Temporary backup or system-recovery copies that remain until they are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
  • Store-managed subscription or billing records maintained by Google Play or another marketplace under that marketplace’s own policies.

4. Billing, Sign-In, and Verification Notes

If a user has an active paid subscription billed through Google Play or another app marketplace, that user should cancel the recurring subscription through the relevant marketplace. Tatva account deletion does not automatically cancel marketplace-managed billing.

Deleting a Tatva account does not delete the user’s Google account, Apple account, or any third-party account used only for sign-in. Tatva may request reasonable verification before deleting an account to prevent unauthorized deletion.

5. Retention After Deletion

Tatva will not keep the deleted account active after a valid deletion request is completed. Where limited data must be retained for security, fraud prevention, payment disputes, backups, or legal compliance, that retained information is kept only for those purposes and not to continue Tatva account access.

Minimal request-handling records may be retained for a limited period after completion of the request so the deletion can be verified or audited if needed. Any longer retention is limited to legal or operational necessity.
