Tatva Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 6, 2026. This policy explains how Tatva handles personal information when users create an account, speak with Jyoti, Riya, and Dr. Meera, use astrology tools, and request account or data deletion.

AI Conversations Shared Memory User Controls

1. Scope and Controller

This policy applies to the Tatva mobile app, Tatva web pages, support channels, and related compliance pages. It covers how Tatva accesses, collects, uses, stores, shares, retains, and deletes user data. Tatva is intended for adult users and is designed around three AI personas: Jyoti for Vedic-context guidance, Riya for emotional companionship, and Dr. Meera for general wellness guidance.

If a feature in Tatva presents a specific in-app privacy or consent disclosure, that feature-specific disclosure controls how that feature works in addition to this policy.

2. Data You Provide

  • Account and sign-in information such as phone number, email address, profile name, or a third-party sign-in identifier.
  • Onboarding and profile details users choose to provide, including language preference and persona preference.
  • Birth details or related information submitted for Kundli, Rashifal, Panchang, or compatibility tools.
  • Messages, prompts, feedback, and other content shared with Jyoti, Riya, and Dr. Meera.
  • Support requests, emails, and other information users provide when contacting the Tatva team.

3. Data Generated by Tatva Use

  • Shared memory entries or summaries derived from conversations to maintain continuity across personas and sessions.
  • Usage and engagement data such as feature interactions, timestamps, message counts, and session activity.
  • Device, app, and diagnostic information such as app version, device type, crash data, and abuse-prevention signals.
  • Subscription and entitlement status needed to determine whether a user is on a free or paid plan.
  • Administrative records related to security, moderation, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or compliance.

4. How Shared Memory Works

Tatva may convert selected user statements into memory snippets, summaries, tags, or contextual facts so that future conversations feel connected rather than isolated. Where enabled, this memory can be used across Jyoti, Riya, and Dr. Meera to improve continuity. Shared memory is used to power the Tatva experience and is not sold to third parties.

Because Tatva is an AI product, users should avoid sharing highly sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for a feature they intentionally choose to use. Users may request deletion of conversation history and stored memory through the Tatva account deletion flow or by contacting support.

5. Why We Use Data

  • To authenticate accounts and keep Tatva working across devices and sessions.
  • To generate responses from Jyoti, Riya, and Dr. Meera and preserve useful context across personas.
  • To deliver astrology outputs and related product features when users submit birth or profile information.
  • To enforce safety rules, investigate misuse, respond to support requests, and improve service reliability.
  • To manage subscriptions, usage limits, entitlement checks, refunds, and billing support.

6. When Data May Be Shared

  • Infrastructure and service providers that support hosting, storage, authentication, AI inference, analytics, or support.
  • Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary.
  • A successor entity as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer, subject to applicable notice requirements.
  • Tatva does not sell personal and sensitive user data.

7. Retention and Deletion

Tatva retains data for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain user-requested continuity, provide support, enforce safety protections, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Conversation history, shared memory, and profile data may remain linked to an active account until the user edits, removes, or deletes the account.

When a valid deletion request is completed, Tatva will delete or anonymize the account data associated with that request, except where limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, payment disputes, backups, or legal compliance.

8. Security and Safety

Tatva uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal and sensitive user data, including secure transmission, controlled access, and operational monitoring. No internet or cloud-based service can promise absolute security.

Dr. Meera does not provide diagnosis or prescriptions. Jyoti does not provide fear-based certainty claims. Riya does not replace crisis, medical, or emergency support. If a conversation indicates serious risk or self-harm concerns, Tatva may present crisis or helpline guidance.

9. Your Rights and Contact

Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their Tatva account data by contacting the Tatva team. Questions about privacy, retention, or deletion can be sent to the contact points below.
